Henry Paniccia is a writer, coach, and the founder of The Confrontation Gym. His work focuses on helping people develop real boundaries, emotional control, and self-respect — especially those coming out of toxic environments, extremism, or long-term people-pleasing patterns.
ABOUT HENRY
Henry spent seven years in white supremacy before leaving that world and spending years rebuilding his life. That experience, combined with deep personal work, led him to create practical, pressure-based training rather than traditional talk-based approaches.
He is the creator of Rods and the Axe, a raw video series in which he confronts his former beliefs by speaking directly to his 19-year-old self. He is also the author of With Lucifer On My Side, a philosophical memoir exploring how occult and philosophical ideas helped him navigate trauma and identity.
CURRENT WORK
The Confrontation Gym: A pressure-based assertiveness training program that uses live drills and confrontation to build real-world confidence and boundaries.
Rods and the Axe: A documentary-style video series examining radicalization and deradicalization from the inside.
With Lucifer On My Side: An autobiographical look at how esoteric frameworks have helped Henry Paniccia (Henry Panic) navigate trauma, adversity, and the more extreme sides of his life.
UNIQUENESS OF APPROACH
Henry’s work stands out because of its honesty and originality. Rods and the Axe is the first project of its kind. His approach to assertiveness training focuses on real pressure and repetition rather than theory. His coaching targets populations that are typically ignored or rejected by the self-help industry.
